For Cats Living in the City of Salinas, California

AFRP is pleased to be able to provide $10 spay or neuter surgeries for cats living within the city of Salinas through our Ruhmann Mobile Spay Neuter Mobile Clinic. This program is possible through a generous grant from the Kathleen and Howard Marks Fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County.

Mobile Spay Neuter Clinics for Cats of low income City of Salinas residents will be scheduled throughout the year providing spay and neuter surgery and rabies vaccines (if needed) for cats living within the city of Salinas.

Free microchips will be provided by the Animal Welfare Assistance Group to help your pet find it’s way home if it should be lost.

Cost - $10 for males or females. Cash payment only on day of surgery. This includes pre-surgical exam and rabies vaccine as well as a free microchip. If your cat requires an e-collar or additional pain medication for home there will be an additional fee. FVRCP vaccine available for only $7.

Cats must weigh 2lbs, be under 5 years of age and healthy with no visible signs of illness. All cats must arrive in a plastic carrier for your animals’ safety.

You will be assigned a time for dropping off your cat at the clinic location. All cats must be picked up the same day and on time to avoid a late pick up fee.

All surgeries are performed by experienced licensed veterinarians with a registered veterinary technician and skilled staff in our fully equipped mobile surgical unit.

At this time we are taking applications for our next spay/neuter clinic listed below:
