Free Cat Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic
For Cats Living in Monterey County, California

Brought to you through a partnership with:

AFRP and FoCAS (Friends of Community Animal Services) are pleased to once again partner to provide free spay and neuter surgery for cats living Monterey County.

Mobile Spay Neuter Clinics for Cats of low income Monterey County residents will be scheduled throughout the year providing spay and neuter surgery and rabies vaccines (if needed) for cats.

Appointments include free pre-surgical exam, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, microchip and nail trimming. If your cat requires an e-collar or additional pain medication for home there will be an additional fee. FVRCP vaccine available for only $10.

Cats must weigh at least 2lbs, be under 5 years of age and healthy with no visible signs of illness. Each cat must arrive in their own plastic carrier for your animals’ safety.

You will be assigned a time for dropping off your cat at the clinic location. All cats must be picked up the same day and on time to avoid a late pick up fee.

All surgeries are performed by experienced licensed veterinarians with a registered veterinary technician and skilled staff in our fully equipped mobile surgical unit.

We are taking applications for our next spay/neuter clinics.

AFRP does not provide any aftercare for your cat after surgery – all sutures are absorbable and do not require removal. If you have any concerns about your pet after their procedure you will need to contact your regular veterinarian or the emergency clinic at your cost. Please refer to your aftercare instructions for more information on what to expect and any restrictions.

After your cats surgery:
Staff will go over the post-surgical instructions with you when you pick up your cat but it is always good to know what is expected after surgery. Please review these instructions so that if you have any questions they can be addressed by staff on the day of surgery. Click here for Post-Surgical Instructions.

If you have any questions please call 888-565-1287 and leave a message your call will be returned.

Thank you for spaying and neutering your pets!
